Todd N. Lebor, CPA, CFP® is the President, Founder, and Principal Advisor at Snowball Wealth Management, LLC (formerly TNL Asset Management LLC). Mr. Lebor has been managing money professionally since 1997. Early in his career, Mr. Lebor worked in the private and public real estate industries where he developed a fundamental understanding of valuation techniques and the importance of a long-term outlook. After developing a taste for equities, Mr. Lebor made the jump to equity research with The Motley Fool and then Morningstar where he polished his discounted cash flow modeling and investment skills.
Mr. Lebor is a graduate of the Boston University School of Management with a concentration in finance. Shortly after graduating, Mr. Lebor attained his Certified Public Accountant designation. He never practiced accounting but uses his accounting knowledge to better analyze financial statements and to decipher real cash flows.
Years later, and despite a promise to himself to never take another standardized test, Mr. Lebor became a Certified Financial Planner®by passing yet another exam. Mr. Lebor is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
After a multi-year search for like-minded RIAs in Colorado, Todd discovered Knopinski & Fauver Financial Advisors (KFFA) in late 2015 and by mid-2016 a deal to merge TNLAM with KFFA was consummated. The new entity was renamed Snowball Wealth Management in 2017.
When he’s not helping others on the path to financial righteousness, Mr. Lebor enjoys time with his family, mastering his woodworking skills, and the numerous outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
Colleen Askew (formerly Knopinski) has lived in Boulder since 1980 and raised her two daughters here. Her educational background is varied–beginning at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the Great Books Program and ending at the University of Colorado with a master’s degree in economics. The fields she pursued in economics were statistics and monetary theory, two areas of interest that she carried into financial planning.
In 1995, Ms. Askew began her financial services career with the Financial Network Investment Corporation in Boulder and completed the requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner in 1998. From 2000 until 2006, she worked as a financial planner specializing in retirement and estate planning for high net-worth individuals at Lighthouse Financial, LLC.
During the same period she collaborated with Rob Fauver to create a fee-based investment advisory program at Lighthouse which eventually led Mr. Fauver and Ms. Askew to start their own fee-only firm, aptly named Knopinski and Fauver Financial Advisors, in 2006. With her own retirement in sight and the desire to provide service to her clients for decades to come, Ms. Askew sold to Snowball Wealth Management in 2016, where she continues her financial planning work.
Ms. Askew is active with her church and numerous environmental and human service non-profit organizations around the Boulder area. She was a member of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council, but has since traded that responsibility for more time with her granddaughter.
Erin McCloskey has worked in the financial services industry for more than 10 years in various capacities. She started her career working for John Hancock Financial after graduating from University of Colorado with a degree in Financial Management. After considering a career change to medicine, Erin realized she was more passionate about financial services and joined First Western as a Portfolio Manager.
Erin has an MBA from Regis University in Denver and earned her CFP® designation in 2017. Now she’s helping Snowball Wealth Management clients reach their short and long-term financial goals by developing realistic and achievable financial plans.
Erin is a former member of the Advisory Board for Youth Enrichment Services in Boston and Epic Experience in Denver. She’s currently an active member of the Empowerment Council for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado and Young Leadership Committee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She’s completed 16 half marathons, often while raising funds for deserving organizations. Erin loves to travel and her favorite way to explore a new place is by running through it.
